Yesterday the UK saw the hottest May day ever. Today there's a decent chance the record will be broken again.
Last night the BBC news broadcast vox pops with idiot members of the public gushing about how lovely the hot weather was. Producers and execs needs to wake the fuck up and start telling people how fucked up this is. Record temperatures should be reported in a sombre way like the death of a beloved public figure, not like the birth of one of their cute new babies.

I think I was wrong about Angine de Poitrine. I was put off by their silly costumes but I suppose in this day and age you need to do that kind of thing to get noticed
It's not the sort of music I'd choose to listen to regularly, but on reflection, I appreciate the art of it. I worry that they are a one trick pony but if they aren't, they could end up being pretty significant in the story of western music

I absolutely love that Cory Doctorow is fast becoming a mainstream voice of reason for the left when it comes to tech and how it intersects with the wider world of geopolitics.
I vote we put him in charge of the world and make Molly White his deputy. Molly can take over when Cory retires.

We have lost almost every other medium to the worst people and corporations.
Audio is the last holdout. Spotify tried to take it from us but they failed. They spent the best part of a billion dollars trying to be the YouTube of audio but somehow they failed.
This is why I continue to make audio, and not videos with thumbnails that kill my soul

Over the last 6 months or so, all the @npub1sy6…9wac shows have seen slow and steady growth. This is pretty satisfying. No doubt we have driven off quite a lot of people with our overtly antifash views but more cool people have found us and stuck around.
Audio podcasts like ours without vertical video clips to share on socials only really grow through word of mouth so thanks, everyone! This must be down to you.
So onwards we go, growing slowly and not breaking anything.

Even as an old person I find myself watching something on TV while being distracted by my phone. I'm told by my peers that their children do this to an even greater extent.
Huge thunderstorms have been predicted for a couple of days so I adjusted my walking schedule and arrived home tonight just as the first drops of rain appeared. It's now pissing down.
