So, getting Chinese takeout last night and waiting for the order. I stsrt asking this guy next to me if he was waiting or needed to order. Then I realized he didn't understand me exactly and he smiled and kinda shrugged. Brraks out his phone, types up stuff in a translator. Guy came here from Colombia to do electrician work and his contact abandoned him and went back to Mexico so he was doing uber and food delivery. Super nice guy, and I never in my life would have imagined doing this.

@npub1uv4…renu I learned a pretty valuable lesson between losing a parent and moving cross country, and I'm a printed book lover. Books are probably near the heaviest things you move and can take up a lot of space. I have my rare and special books, but between that, and a whole shop full ot tools, I could not afford to move it all. We had to lighten the load and make really hard decisions on what went and what didn't. But it felt good getting lighter. Just do what you feel you can on that.

I have two weird cooking vids for you to check out. First was a search for something you normally can't find how to make, but it is Pizza Pucks. I was introduced to these at a restaurant called, Pizza Pucks in North Sacramento, CA, but they quickly failed, and were very expensive. I dont know their actual method, but these people had fun replicating with some success using a Pappa Murphys. Annoying, loud music track tho.
