Thing about donating Bibles to a homeless shelter is - we already have them. Shelters get Bibles all the time. Once in a while, somebody picks one up. If you want to donate something that will help, check the shelter website. They might have a list of stuff they need. Socks and hygiene items are always useful.

I'm not going to link to them, but I'm seeing some op-eds about what a nice guy Brian Thompson was.
There are a lot of nice people going bankrupt or dying because of US healthcare system right now. Thompson made a fortune on their suffering. He did not channel his wealth into helping others. He enjoyed being part of their exploitation.

I think Klinger was a positive cross-dressing character. Everybody liked him except the regular Army officers, who were portrayed as stupid and rigid. Klinger bucked the system in his own colorful way.

As a kid watching M*A*S*H, I just thought Klinger was another sorta funny character. The cross-dressing didn't seem strange or crazy to me. I liked diversity then and I like it now.

I've been in USA for 55 years. I was raised with guns in the house. I've never needed a gun for protection.
The only time I was ever threatened with a gun, it was in the hand of a drunk family member who is now a MAGAt. I don't talk to him anymore.
