nobody's making money off it. The billions pumped into it are because they believe they are building a digital god which will generate them infinite money. If one of the big players has an epiphany (or gets arrested for alleged terrible crimes against their sister for example) and realises that's not gonna happen then the tech bros might stop the AI race. And then the bubble will pop

I've been using #firefox since before the 1.0 release. That's nearly 25 years. Even with the poor stewarding from #Mozilla, I've always said I'll use firefox for as long as I can.
The new CEO sets the direction for the project, and in his experience working for real estate companies and complete lack of understanding of FOSS or community, has chosen to accelerate hard into a brick wall. So I'm evaluating #librewolf right now.
