interesting. Amiga emulation still seems somewhat hit and miss. I have mostly failed to get stuff working on AYN Odin 2 Mini or AYN Thor, even with the Kickstarter ROMS etc. Maybe a browser based one will be better because you have a mouse and keyboard.

I think Bisamråttan is a better name than the English Muskrat, but they don't feature on the mug either, so it remains a mystery.

Hattifatteners are Hattivatit in Finnish (I believe) so I am at a loss why this mug has a letter B on it?
Beach, perhaps? But that’s vanishingly obscure.

My gaming this year was split across Steam on Mac, SteamDeck, Switch, and emulation on iPhone or Ayn Odin 2 Mini. Very fragmented. While Unicorn Overlord would be my GOTY on Switch and Balatro on SteamDeck I think it has to go to Delta by @npub1yk0…g32h for excellent GBA/DS emulation on iPhone and sending me off to get the Odin 2 Mini for even more #retrogaming activity.

Look Ma, no hands. Testing using Taildrop to send a file to Ayn Odin 2 Mini. It works. Easier than the SD card shuffle potentially.

In 2007-2008 Everybody's Golf on the PSP was my go-to commuting game. Or for any casual downtime. Revisiting it on the Ayn Odin 2 Mini is a delight. Not just because the game play remains perfectly balanced but because there's fun remembering courses as I unlock them. I'm not a golf fan at all but a couple of handheld versions have been wonderful video games in their own right.

Struggling a bit with the first 4 games in UFO-50 so I dig up something fairly retro, though not as old as the fictional ones in UFO-50.
It’s Platypus, home made with plasticine in NZ apparently. We liked this on the PC ages ago. It also had a PsP version and is now on Steam.

Success! Managed to transfer my save file for Final Fantasy Tactics A2 from Delta on iPhone to DraStic on the Ayn Odin 2 Mini. A bit fiddly of course but figured it out in the end.
It’s not my original save from my actual DS cartridge as I haven’t worked out how to get that. In any case I have long forgotten what was going on in that save.

I am interested in this as well. I have a few I listed on Vinted after seeing them with big price tags on ABE Books. But no bites. Setting up on ABE seems pricey and not worth it for just a few books.

Listening to the Back Pages PSP draft and it reminded me that although I was late to the PSP party, I did have a tremendous time with it. In conjunction with the DS it heralded the arrival of a golden era in handheld gaming which the Switch and Steam Deck are just building on top of. Oh, and the physical games actually had little manuals. Very cute.
