Last Notes npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Essentially yes haha except the book I referenced the Eugenicists are actually the shadowy British government/banking/warfare class whose centuries old foreign policy strategy is akin to “putting red ants and black ants in a jar and shaking it to let them fight amongst themselves” npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms And that consistent inflation is necessary for investment and a growing economy npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Have you read the book “How the British Invented Communism (And Blamed It On The Jews” ? I thought it was fairly compelling and an interesting perspective that I hadn’t considered before. The forces behind the scenes aren’t usually ever mentioned npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms It would be helpful for the public to flip the perspective to how much less the dollar is buying as compared to some time in the past npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms The marigolds for Dia de Los Muertos are a tad early but looking great and filling the field with color #flowerstr npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms I’m realizing life is just a slow process of getting to the point where I can just dedicate time to the garden and not worry about other commitments or responsibilities npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Old school Kanye (College Dropout and Graduation almbums) was possibly some of the best hip hop ever to be created npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Appreciate the helpful advice. I won’t forget it! 👌🏻 npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms 🙏❤️ npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms The wife and I closed on our first house today. I drove away from the property tonight thinking “damn, I own this” (yes, I know technically I pay property taxes forever so it’s not true ownership). But it’s a feeling I’ve never had before and honestly pretty surreal. It gives a sense of pride and desire to improve the property for our future family. It will become a place where memories are made. npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Probably a good thing npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms How are things over in France? npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Sunrise was amplified through the fog this morning on the way to work. Can’t beat stuff like that npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Versailles? npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms I thought this was a Lindsay Graham+Netanyahu impersonation contest npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Some days I’m still in disbelief that in a short while we’ll welcome our first born child. It’s an abstract thing to comprehend that a tiny human is growing, more so being that it’s our first. So many nerves too. npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Two for one for the people. Who cares, it’s deserving of a re-post if so. Nature laughs in flowers, I think that was Ralph Waldo Emerson? #flowerstr #bloomscrolling npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Queen Lime Zinnias still popping as the fall weather sets in #flowerstr #bloomscrolling npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Same! I zapped your OG profile instead npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms I don’t think anything forces wealth into bitcoin per se, it’s a permissionless protocol, non coercive by nature. The better question would be why would someone need bitcoin?Predatory governments, collapses in trust, a police state, complete anarchy with widespread violence and coercion like pre-Bukele El Salvador, Weimer-esque hyperinflations. Being able to take your life’s earnings anywhere in the world in your head is highly valuable. npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Repricing the world as the only verifiable finitely scarce money created through proof of work npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Thanks for the input. That’s enough to convince me that these are just mass surveillance tools meant to squeeze the law abiding public dry for every penny we have npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms If the flock cameras are truly a net benefit, we should see our insurance rates marginally decline due to more efficient criminal control. But if it’s all for surveillance, the status quo will continue, higher insurance, more fines, and less freedom. npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms That what I aim to do. But I can’t help the cash buyers who want to flip it or others who will outbid us. Patience is a virtue, but the market is wild npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Went to an open house during the search for a home to raise the family in. The roof life is at its end, so upon purchase we would be looking at a huge expense. Cost of the house? $900,000 npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Take my 100 sats npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Few things in life can top this experience npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Sounds like the Iranians are doing an impression of the American government npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms The noise has been loud lately npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms How in the world are US 10 year treasuries 4.75% and Greece’s 10 year bonds are 3.99% ? npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms 👌🏻 bitcoin is the modern day equivalent of gun powder in the era of knights on horseback npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Been a minute Nostr. Kind of nervous given there’s so much info out there. But I hear from most people that no one is ever prepared to be a parent npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Thanks good sir npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Thanks you sir! It’s quite surreal npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Thank you. Very much looking forward to it npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms First child npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Thank you friend npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Good point. When I heard Dave Collum ranting on a podcast that the S&P 500 priced in gold has been flat for decades it definitely re-wired my brain. Then I look at things priced in bitcoin and it’s just 🤯 npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms My wife is having a girl. Our first. What a feeling. Nothing better in this life. npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms 🤦🏻♂️ I’ve had similar conversations with some parents of my peers. They lament that their kid is struggling to pay rent in our hometown, and in the same sentence are excited that the neighbor’s house sold for 1.8 million because that will increase their house’s value. Total lack of awareness of what is actually happening. A sad byproduct of the public education system IMO npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms People really think things around them are getting more expensive and don’t realize it’s just their currency losing purchasing power 🤦🏻♂️ npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Welcome back. Best of Nostr should be a yearly award ceremony npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Hey thanks friend 👌🏻 npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms So bip-110 failing means the bitcoin protocol is now centralized? Is there an explainer for a simpleton to read? npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms On the bright side here are some gorgeous dahlias. Maybe I posted them already so if so I’m not worried about it. They’re deserving of two posts npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Suddenly my bitcoin news feed is filled with voices from the ether saying bitcoin is now changed and has failed. Similar to “2 weeks to flatten the curve”, I’ll stay skeptical of sudden propaganda meant to divide and fear monger. Stacking sats every week #bitcoin npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Happy Sunday and GM Nostr. Dogs are one of the many joys in life. #dogsofnostr npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Wow Europe built some cool stuff back in the day npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms All the best brother npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Happy Sunday Nostr. Idk if it’s just me but I see a lot of skepticism and doubt in some bitcoin/liberty spaces right now. Pressure makes diamonds. Nothing worth fighting for is ever easy, and the road to an equity based monetary system from within the system of a debt based, centrally planned system won’t be smooth. Setbacks will sadly happen, but the destination won’t change. The world will be a better place in the future #flowerstr #agriculture #bitcoin npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Smash buying as we speak npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Thanks for sharing, super helpful especially for a novice like myself! npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms GN Nostr. Bloomscroll to end the night of the most colorful mixed bouquets we have had all year. Summer is truly bountiful. Thoughts and prayers for all the hardcore freedom maximalist folks in #bitcoin who lost their hard earned time from the ColdCard debacle. npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms This week I learned what entropy means npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms 🫡 some are saying this is a list of Nostr’s finest npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms I see, how tragic and infuriating that must be. Simply because the value of the dollar is debased and government chicanery imposes laws that leave no good options, they are ousted from their homes. Words don’t suffice to describe how evil and despotic that is. Some (including me) would say this is on purpose and a sinister plot to impose a neo-feudal model of society. These commies have gone too far npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Agreed npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms We shouldn’t have property taxes at all, they violate private property rights. This was just an illustration of the consequences of inept government policy. CA caps property tax increases yearly to a small amount, and property tax is assessed as either the purchase price or the assessed value, whichever is greater. Therefore, older generations have minuscule property tax bills, while a young family buying their house will see a 5-10x jump in yearly property tax once they sign the mortgage. Most young people here however think the solution is to increase property taxes on those old boomers and legacy houses instead of abolishing property taxes and zoning laws that artificially increase the value of these residences. npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Home was purchased and it’s value was reassessed by the county. In CA property tax bills are capped at either the greater of the purchase price or the assessed value, and assessed value can only be increased incrementally per year to the best of my knowledge. npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Is there a better summation of the dichotomy between millennials buying homes vs boomers buying homes than this picture? npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Happy Sunday Nostr. Bloomscroll don’t doomscroll #flowerstr #farmstr npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Same is happening for me npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms I love listening to the guy, great raconteur. The shit he says fires me up about being American, yet he also seems to have this indescribable faith that Trump has some master plan that is unfolding npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms His show with Brent Johnson in May, he was ragging on people like Dave Smith/Tucker/Candace for calling out Trump for starting the Iran war and whistling past the whole Epstein pedophilia scandal. His argument seems that it’s part of the plan and that Trump has bigger fish to fry first. I’m amenable to that view. But I think Luongo weak spot is he’s an agnostic and he sees geopolitics like a game board. Which in many cases it is, but putting down ideologically consistent libertarians and conservatives for the sake of theorizing that Trump is ending European control over the American banking system seems unnecessary npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms Could this be the 4-D chess game Trump has been playing to usurp the neofeudal European Davos class that Tom Luongo has been incessantly shouting from the rooftops? npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms It’s brutal out here man. Best of luck to you my friend 🫡 npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms There’s nothing like looking to buy a house in this market to make you quickly feel depressed and hopeless. Irish moss is an awesome one. I personally love Corsican Mint as well, it’s soft, and the fresh, minty smell when you walk on it is delightful npub1p5mnpfuny3vsr4d2n3cw7qg8f6n5azff8ycpshpugr2zx80wv2xqaca498 Neve Farms GM Nostr.
