Two pieces of advice I'd feel comfortable giving to every young person right now, without qualification:
1. Spend less than you earn, and save the excess in Bitcoin.
2. Get fit and and strong. Investments into your body are always worth it.

You can tell a lot about how someone has lived their life by their body, especially later in life. Their posture, the way they walk, their overall physique and complexion—all these provide clues as to whether they lived gracefully and morally, or pridefully and hedonistically.
Your body accumulates and stores your actions.
Your body provides proof of your life's work.

Worked like a dog today...dawn to dusk... mowing, weeding, brush hogging , burning, cleaning, painting, repairing. Enjoyed a smoked pork butt as the sun set. It was a good day.

Yup I totally get it. And tere is a lot of misrepresentation just on the cherry picking of measurement dates. Using any sort of past data to forecast the future is also problematic

I get the sentiment. However I know exactly my average cost basis (and my CAGR @nprofile…ej8n 👀). I am also a true bitcoiner in that I put every last penny that I can into BTC and am ideologically possessed by it. I like tracking things. It's also my profession as a CPA. To each their own!

He's right. I encourage everyone to calculate the CAGR on their own personal investments. It's the best metric for cross-asset comparison. I have been DCA-ing since 2021 and the CAGR of my personal stack is currently 66%. Have AI help you set up a spreadsheet to do this. It's wildly valuable knowledge. I — like every other moon boi — find myself complaining that we're "stuck" at $115,000. But when I look at my CAGR, I know there is nothing better I could be investing in than Bitcoin. It's extremely unlikely that I could consistently beat 66%, so I need to chill out and appreciate Bitcoin.

Agreed. The left-right axis just tell you what people prefer to do with an amount of control or freedom...almost like a personality indicator more than anything.

@nprofile…fm4n and @nprofile…ecfu - I appreciate the honest dialogue of your journey through nihilism. I needed to hear it, because honestly I'm in it now, and it is difficult. You gave me a bit of hope that perhaps it's only temporary. Thank you for that.

A unique challenge in life is reconciling the journey upwards with the journey downwards. It's figuring out how to pursue excellence and self-evolution, while simultaneously accepting limitation and humiliation...how to metamorphose into our highest form while at the same time dissolve into egolessness.
My faith is that the paradox may be resolved by an "integration of opposites", as Jung put it. A tree flowers toward the celestial heights, while its roots penetrate deeper into the heart of the earth—without any contradiction. Can I become like a tree? Both toward the light, and toward the darkness.

I once saw a Tweet that said "if your car is not older than Bitcoin, then you're not stacking sats hard enough." Well, my 2008 Honda CRV now has no air conditioning. A bird flew in my car while I was driving windows down causing a bit of mayhem. Wife says I've taken this too far.

Loving what I'm seeing so far.
I'm struggling with the NWC (I understand it's experimental at this point). I got it set up to my Primal, and funded the NWC wallet, but when I Zap people, the sats aren't actually coming out of the NWC wallet. When I send a Zap, I do get the notification that says "event received", but no sats are flowing. I'm on Android. Any thoughts?

Lol right? That is the question. I have been experience a lot of "negative energy" at work - anxiety, stress, growing pains, occasional humiliation, etc - and I'm trying to figure out how I can put all of that to use, to make me, and the business, stronger. I'll report back when I have the answer👍🏼
