It doesnt.
Because you have 32 relays in your inbox list.
The best practice standard is 3, btw.
When you have so many you force every client to do a huge amount of work to send you something. Whitenoise doesnt do it if there's more than 16.
You'll have a better experience on nostr if you reduce the number of relays in your list.
Youre still on the old version of the app.
I guess nobody’s buying Bitkinis anymore.

I had an address in my bio for about 2 weeks while I was working on the payment target UX in Wisp. Earned enough to place an @nprofile…rlfc order, but then it dropped off. Back to Lightning only again.
Did you sign in with that key to white Noise?
i can't find you there.
Wow, how generous to give us back our own money. Oh, wait…they’re just gonna print it, aren’t they?
I just ran a zombie check on @npub14ae…4afw and here's what I found:

Thanks for the suggestions. I think seeing archived pages from your followers is doable. It would need to be opt-in of course, so we aren’t leaking browsing data to relays without a user’s permission. I’ll add it to the backlog to explore later. Other features like archiving a current page would be too heavy a feature for a signer app, and would very likely break compatibility between Chrome and Firefox, which is not something I do not want to do. Sidecar doesn’t need to replace all the things individual clients do best. It’s meant to be a Nostr companion.

Three years ago tonight, I had dinner with @nprofile…dxpg and @nprofile…at4z at a Peruvian restaurant in East Harlem. We unsuccessfully attempted to tip the waiter with bitcoin. Then we tried to settle up between us using various Lightning wallets that struggled to find routes.
Good times. 💜⚡️🖖

There’s @nprofile…njz6 Shack, which is by far the best NIP-07 signer extension for iOS Safari.
If you want remote signing on iOS, try @nprofile…qvrr. On Android your best option is @nprofile…9yxp.

Your media, your key, your choice of server.
Blossom lets you mirror files between servers, so you're never stuck with one host. Make Azzamo one of them.

Watch me start pronouncing it JFEG then.
I disagree with the creator then. The G stands for GRAPHIC, not GIRAFFE-IC! 🦒
Thanks @npub15u3…05rq for an awesome chat tonight, and for having me as his first guest on Connection.
Our conversation covered a lot of ground, talking about the origins of @npub1xxd…kt7a, and plenty of other stuff. We probably could have gone on for another hour, but we had to stop somewhere.
It’s been almost a full year to the day since I posted this note. So much has happened since then, but it’s nothing compared to what’s ahead.
Still so bullshit on Nostr! 💜⚡️🖖

How is it October 2026 and Damus still doesn’t animate WEBPs? 🤣

I figured out why this is happening.
Plume uses nostr-login, which inserts itself between the page and your signer so it can pass messages along, instead of talking to the signer directly. Sidecar doesn’t support that, so the login button appears to do nothing.
The nostr-login library comes from nostr.band, a service that has shut down and is no longer maintained. I’d suggest replacing it with a direct connection to the signer extension through window.nostr, which is how most modern NIP-07 clients work.
Most of my apps now support this, using the Lazarus Data Recovery spec:

What’s your stance on backward compatibility?
But is there an actual option to display it?

Good thing nobody uses it or we’d have a real problem on our hands.
Wait, why doesn’t Ditto show Lightning addresses if it’s part of the user’s kind0?
Never giving this one away.

That may be, but people need to see what’s going on behind the scenes. Most users don’t understand any of it, and just want their apps to work. I’ve already stated where I stand on this.
For those interested to learn more about the Kind Wars currently being waged on Nostr, here’s a primer.

Why are you posting a screenshot of a thing that should be a link?
I don’t live in Canada, but some of them aren’t so bad.

Make yourself productive, Steve. You know the blockchain was invented in New Jersey, right? And pork roll. Either way, fortunes have been made in the Garden State.
I gave up on them a while back, the rewards just didn’t cut it anymore.
What’s also unexpected is that if I’m just trying out a bunch of themes, it creates a noisy mess of events, one for each time I click and sign, and even if I choose the same theme again, it has to sign a new update to say that I created the same theme multiple times, and this shows up in the theme gallery.
If the way it works is to copy the theme data, you could also offer to rehost the background image on the user’s own blossom server, otherwise like you said, the original user could rug them for it at any point.
Regardless, if the signed event can carry the pubkey of the original theme’s author, it would still be possible to correctly attribute it to its actual creator, and use different language to describe the action of signing the event to display that theme on your profile.
@npub18am…p424 Why when I sign an event to choose a theme published by another user does it say I “created” it?

Just putting them out there for anyone to find. You asked me if I could make some @npub1car…f0dd themes for Ditto, and most of them translate pretty well.
