The sovereign tech stack

I suspect buzz's approach of agents chatting as if they are another human member of the team in threads against specific work items is where we end up. Maybe Issues / PRs become the domain of agents working out the details and humans interact at something higher level. The harnesses we use become more and more abstract work managemnt tools. I've not figured this out but I'm pretty sure permissionless git hosting / Issue / PR collaboration is foundational even if its only agents that end up using it. This is why I haven't pivoted to writing a harness. This note has been occupying my brain for weeks #nevent1q…w955

I came to the same conclusion and have my agents post as @npub1v47…wtp0. I think my next step here is to have more than 1 agent identity. so different models can post reviews and discussions without it appearing under the same account. There's a space for users. I didn't mean to imply that we actually have any users in that space right now.
@npub107j…ncxg is spot on. NIP-22 threading is simply better but as Linus puts it:

GM. what's filling you with hope on this fine morning?
Yes. https://ngit.dev/releases it works great in a CI pipeline too https://ngit.dev/ci
This is the most fun tutorial video I've seen in a while. Watch it just for the vibes.

GM. What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
GM. Ditto's sunrise animation on all GM posts is such a cool feature. I've decided to embrace GMs.
I like what you are doing here @npub18am…p424

GM. When it comes to freedom tech, be Italian, not British. A Brit hates the meal, says "lovely, thanks" and never comes back. An Italian tells the chef everything they got wrong. Loudly. Every week. From their usual table.
Just wait until you to add rust to the equation
The market hasn't found a winner

Do not waste your energy criticising this or that platform. The beast will grow a new head. Instead use tools that don't require permission. #nostrishope
Yes! Right now you have to self host your own grasp service but if there is interest I'll make a one click service offering. https://ngit.dev/repositories/private
Ngit on android? LFG! I patched this error in 3.0.2 and did some basic checks. I don't have thorough CI testing of andriod just yet
This is too fatalist. Our actions can bring about the conditions that drive through positive change.
I find codex has much bigger limits than Claude?

🎓 ngit v3 and GitWorkshop v4 launch! The biggest release yet brings CI, private repositories, forge-free software releases and much more. Grasp is the powerhouse behind ngit. The launch also includes ngit-grasp v3, the new ngit-ci 0.1 and an entirely new docs site. https://ngit.dev/v3
A fresh new grasp client! I like it's athetics a lot

Thanks. It feels like a real milestone. A lot of hardwork and late nights.
Thanks. Let me know what you think of it
Did you sync it with nostr git sync? Did you make it with your main npub? I only see flotilla and a nostrlib fork as nostr git repositories for @nprofile…psy5
Can you use your network to get their contact details?
GM my friend. Perhaps I am the moth. I am entranced by the world of ideas and the screen is a gateway. This isn't mindless scrolling but probably still unhealthy. I'm reminded of the film koyaanisqatsi and the Hopi word its named after.
if you run a grasp server i recommend upgrading to ngit-grasp v3. lots go goodies that I'm mainly discuss when the next ngit-cli release happens! http://gitworkshop.dev/danconwaydev.com/ngit-grasp
This looks great. I'm interested to see where this goes.
Amazing! We plan to introduce support for subpath as part of private grasp repos.
Not right now but soon. But we have a draft and some work towards implementing it.
I listened to this last night and it was fantastic! @npub19w6…syzj, I'm excited about nix-nostr. FYI I just got buzz-desktop working on nixos: https://github.com/block/buzz/pull/3734
I love nix. I think we could use it for git nostr CI. http://gitworkshop.dev/npub15qydau2hjma6ngxkl2cyar74wzyjshvl65za5k5rl69264ar2exs5cyejr/ngit-ci/tree/nix-idea/docs/nix-workflow-path-proposal.md
Take a look at #naddr1qq…w05r
Here is a draft spec. #nevent1q…pcvv https://gitworkshop.dev/nevent1qvzqqqqx2gpzpgqgmmc409hm4xsdd74sf68a2uyf9pwel4g9mfdg8l5244t6x4jdqy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3vamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwv35hgar09ec82c30qqsr79zwkfckr85cgyec0hz5u3ch20mqfc3l9ahkwe2df9drjkat8tqvdq9wh
Have you tried on gitworkshop?
I did think about adding optional 402 to grasp git endpoints to enable operators / self-hoster to make dealing with inefficent use by AI crawlers profitable.
Reach out if you need anything or have any questions. I'd recommend gitworkshop.dev/danconwaydev.com/ngit-grasp if you are self hosting.
Those requirements were from earlier days of ngit. You dont have to self-host anything as there are public grasp servers you can use or self-host your own. With ngit you have the freedom to switch from self-hosted to hosted and back again with no user disruption. If you have a repo on your self hosted gitlab, a collaborator needs to create an account on your instance - that's friction whereas with ngit, their nostr account can be used.
