How long will you be more active on nostr before going back to centralized options?
KYC is for people who don't yet understand Bitcoin.
The truth is, there is no spoon.
I hope it gets 21m views.
I always laugh at those ghetto girlfriend starting fights for their men videos, or talking back to the police at traffic stops... completely unable to measure risk. Good fun.
Though I didn't know I could force women to delete apps. I'll give this new super power a try. Wish me luck.
Not just Christian, but rooted in biology. If I have to die for you and the offspring, I'm going to tell you what risks you're going to take, if any, and set the bounds.
100%... I imagine my #4 to encompass that.
Hope your day goes perfectly, ending with a brief snow storm as a reward.
Well, I mean, I'm only here because my husband made me delete Whatsapp and Facebook because of Zuckerberg, but he sees Nostr as this indy/punk version of the same sort of thing, so he grudgingly tolerates it and even sometimes helps with our project. I'm only allowed to buy Bitcoin because of his Occupy Wallstreet mentality.
Without his influence, I'd be exchanging cat pics with my neighbor ladies and arranging our next wellness spa vacation and shopping trip. I'm totally out of that loop because Hubby is like, that's a stupid loop.
The most extreme form of this is trade-off is the submission expected of Christian wives. You gain massive amounts of leverage over the actions of one particular man, but you give up most of your direct agency and can only navigate "independently" within the bounds he sets.
That's why the most-powerful or influential women in Christian history tend to be never-married or divorced. Marriage basically takes her out of the running, and she can't "move up in rank" until and unless she is widowed, so she has to carefully consider if that's the best choice of vocation.
This is why being an active member of a church, extended family, club, or similar organization can lead to higher agency, even though you are agreeing to follow their rules and contribute with time and/or money. You are essentially part of a team and that gives you the team as a sort of leverage.
Google fuels a lot of my SearXNG results, they just don't get paid
I have some amount of 1 (living below my means and not engaging in any consumerism at all) and 4, doing what I want through effort.
I'm just jealous of those who have no brain to turn off sometimes.
1. Money
2. Stupidity
3. Disinterest/Apathy
4. Willpower/Determination
5. ...?
#2 always pisses me off, I hate how happy NPCs are day to day doing whatever they want.
Money isn't the only thing that gives you agency.
Few know this, so they assume that people with high agency must be rich.
This certainly beats my nerd brained "buy a drone" solution.
Grüne partei raus, Grüne partei raus, Deutschland den Deutschen 🎶

We should start a Deport the Greens Party. 😂
With that reasoning, very few people would be able to vote at all.
I was thinking the other day that if nativist populist parties promised to deport gay race communist natives, they'd get even more support.
If you ask me, spiteful mutant natives are an ausländer group that is currently the most dangerous.
Yup.
I thought it was nuts, but I knew how the vote would turn out because I've got teenagers at home. 😂
The Greens are panicking.
They gave 16 year-old Germans the vote and they immediately voted against them. 🤣🤣🤣
She deleted it. LOL

If a dollar collapse is swift enough, it might just happen, briefly.

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee racist!

Noticing is baaad.
Get your intihuatana ready
I think it's up for debate how well it might work. I'd prefer my enemy to be weakened as much as possible before I actually have to take calculated risks myself.
We need to bide our time though to get things in place. These are cycles that span multiple decades. I also support a preference for a non-violent solution by defunding them.
I managed to pay my daughter's judo teacher in Bitcoin. Gen Z are not quite as bad as the average freedom-hating Spanish person.
Either it's so tyrannical that it needs to be overthrown immediately, or it isn't.
If it isn't (and we apparently agree on that, seeing as how neither of us are storming any capitols), then it is worth influencing through political agitation and voting.
Which is why we rid ourselves of them rather than giving in.
Any state that exists should be small, homogeneous and local, made up of you and people like you. Anyone supporting or participating in anything else should be resisted, violently if needed.
They rule, whether you are interested or not.
I'm not interested in the normie populace's rulers ruling me.
The quality of the politicians reflects the quality of the populace.
That doesn't change the way the government works.
Don't waste your right to draw a large phallus across the names of criminals who hate you.
I suspect anyone who tries to discourage me from voting of working for the opposition or being ignorant of how governments work.
They're literally trying to stop you from spending 5 minutes filling out a form and putting it in a mailbox. Because it's supposedly not worth the effort to even attempt to influence government. 🤨
Think about.
People wouldn't be trying to rig the votes, if voting didn't matter.
Mats are bourgeois
#eattherich
When you take "Stack sats and stay humble." A bit too seriously. 😂
Write it on your hovel welcome mat.
People be like, I'd buy Bitcoin, rather than a house.
You can't live in a Bitcoin, tho, and if you don't own your own home, you have to pay rent and rent is crazy-expensive and is money thrown down an endless black hole. And if you have a family, your tiny, crappy apartment will feel very tiny and very crappy.
They be like, Well, my kids will thank me, when they're older and it be like, You think you're going to have them growing up in a hovel, despite having money, and then you bust out 2 Bitcoin on your deathbed and any of them will be there to say goodbye?
People listen to me, when I talk about Bitcoin, because I don't have much of it.
I can relate to them.
From boiling the oceans to destroying the rainforests. I hope you Bitcoiners are pleased with yourselves.
Cut all TV and streaming. Jellyfin only from local personal library.
Mine has the exact same base. Almost as if they were mass produced in China.
Been to both, but only touched one.
People are still trying to run Bitcoin on Raspberry Pis
Spaghetti should definitely be unbroken when you put it on your pizza. I totally agree.
"noninvestigative communism"
Yes, those are all translations, tho.
>>The word “sin”, as it appears in the Bible, comes from the Greek word Hamartia or the Hebrew word Hata, which both mean “to miss the mark” or “flawed”. The word was used in archery and spear throwing. When a person missed the center of the target, they erred, or “hamartia-ed”. So, as this applies to sin, we should ask, “What is the mark that we are missing?”
And the answer is: The holy righteous perfection of God.<<
https://www.patheos.com/blogs/e2medianetwork/2016/11/wwutt-sin-means-to-miss-the-mark/
You cannot be sure. You take it on Faith, out of Love and that gives you Hope, but the greatest of these three things is Love.
Every moral order defines a "mark" or "target" of the most virtuous, perfect human and moral people try to get as close as possible to that mark before they die.
To sin is to miss that mark and the gravity of the sin is defined by how far away from the mark it was.
Virtue is the greater and sin is the lesser.
I think the sum doesn't change, the weighting of the parts shifts.
Hell is eternity spent separated from God.
Christ has always existed.
Sin is "to miss the mark".
Christianity means that moral laws are breakable, but never without consequences. That makes them more like physics.
Every moral failing results in an opposite and equal reaction.
Islam is a religion focused on the exersize of good habits, that is why, such as the pillars.
Christianity is more about forming the conscience and the soul, and other religions are more about holding on to established traditions or getting in tune with the universe.
They each try to divine the Natural Laws and teach them to their members. Obviously, I think Christianity's cerebral self-reflection brings everyone closer to Nature, but other people are like,
Ugh, whatever. Just tell me what to do, please.
"It's a bad thing to do because God forbids it and we know He forbids it because it goes against Nature."
Killing doesn't necessarily go against Nature, tho, so long as it isn't murder.
Not dull because people can appeal to the authority of God or Natural Law and that can have an effect on the behavior of their neighbors or make someone want to not be their neighbor.
Someone can refuse to follow moral laws or occasionally be opportunistic, but that can have a tangible negative effect on their life, even without state enforcement.
Moral laws are also laws.
I'm not saying the entirety of the Government and population are evil in the EU and Norway... I'm saying that like most countries, on the most part, the entirety of the Government and population are stupid.
Any country that engages in blanket "regulation" and "legislation" is an enemy of human rights. I'm surprised that conference is allowed to take place.
Devs aren't really elite. They're more like info channels for software updates. 😂
They can't afford to be too removed from the masses because they're selling consumer goods to those masses and they need every customer they can get and they need to do market research.
And then you have a couple of very large accounts who are here to chat and socialize, so they're not emotionally removed.
Elite behavior is distant and cliquey and overly scrupulous about manners. That's what defines them: being "set apart".
Keep going. It's just a time preference issue. Crying means it's working.
Life hack: if your children are too small, feed and water them and eventually they'll grow.
The Moors were a Berber people, a Semitic people recently conquered by Arabs and converted to Islam. They didn't pass through what is today Morrocco, they were from there. They were pale (but not "white"), many were even gingers. They were big into slavery of subsaharan Africans. They reintroduced civilization back into western Europe, which they themselves had lost because of the collapse of the Western Roman Empire and the invasions by Germanic peoples into north Africa. But this civilization they got from their Arab conquerors, who had taken it from the Greeks and Egyptians they conquered prior.
I've replied there. I'd be interested in finding out what happened that made this necessary for you.

We just pile into the mega GM notes because that's the main way to get followers, since nobody can find you, otherwise.
I just ate this! Not quite so much though.
You don't want to know about Baal. And normal islands are fine (just avoid the ones with Baal temples).
Don't go as far as Baal sacrifices and visiting strange islands.
Someone once told me they can't open websites because all they have is a smartphone. They asked if there was an app version.
Everyone I know tells me that they can't get emails because all they have is a smartphone. Can I send it over WhatsApp?
No punchline.
Let me just open my Coinbase... Oh look it's down again... I'll keep trying while you prepare the pizzas.
Someone needs to order 60 pizzas then ask to pay with lightning.
Twitter is brain cancer for ego-retards.
Jack is right, but you engineer the better world on the foundation of the one you just destroyed.
My point was more that I ignore every law and process that conflicts with my morals. So I have to spend most of my time outside the system.
But this should be less-important to a Christian than how his own church sees things, of course.
Well, the State has its own paperwork stuff, like deciding who inherits which property, determining paternity, and so on. Keeping a consistent marital register doesn't really overstep the bounds of government, per se.
That's how I treat whatever comes out of the state.
I've always wondered about that, as Catholics don't really care about what's happening with the civil courts, except as evidence for a case.
They have their own rules and their own processes and certificates.
Do non-catholic congregations still do annulments, or do they just issue divorce certificates for invalid marriages?
Or do they let the civil courts lead?
What animal is this that was large enough to weigh 20kg and was armed with knives?
Data integrity checks.
Stuff like making sure the date field contains an actual date, the follow list contains real user IDs and not nicknames or emoticons, etc.
