Docker came up with their “sandbox” feature but I haven’t tried it.
extension gets a little indicator when visiting domain -> "this domain has 100 archives" -> click to browse.
same for any url -> "this page has been archived 3 times by people in your network"

more fun though: Alice reads a paywalled NYT article with her subscription, archives it to nostr. Bob sees (in Sidecar?) that Alice posted a new free article, he reads it. he can browse dozens of other liberated articles from the same domain.
even more fun: per each generally-paywalled domain, one person sets up a bot to archive every article per day. set up a feed of these bots' archives: now everyone shares a handful of subscriptions.
...and the fair market value of paywalled text finally surfaces 😆

Pretty sure they don't sew it up they cram a soldering iron up your ass to cauterize it.
I won't say I don't believe that someone is orchestrating it on purpose. The motivation is clear. As long as the left and right fight the people who buy their bullshit on both sides demand more government power to try to control the other. Authoritarianism wins and some people definitely benefit from that.
I don't see as direct and clear evidence for that as the simple coordinated action caused by aligned incentives. The busses run where the customers are paying for routes.
This is my problem with a lot of conspiracy thinking. In this case why pay? Why risk getting caught? They have already aligned the incentives enough to get the actions they desire. Fox gets to show the bus and scare their base if the migrants pay for it or the CIA pays for it. Insisting the CIA or whoever are paying means regular people think you are nuts because you insist on evidence that doesn't exist and never will. I consider that my evidence that they aren't.

I run them inside a sandboxed container.
The agent only has access to the paths on the host I give it permission.
The network egress is gated by a mitmproxy + wireguard setup and each remote host must be approved explicitly by me.
It also has Docker-in-Docker access with limited permission (mostly read) gated using Open Policy Agent (OPA).
Secrets are stored on disk encrypted using SOPS / AGE and always scoped.

India has now pulled BitChat from its App Store through Apple.
BitChat works over Bluetooth with no internet, no phone number and no account. That is exactly why Delhi wants it gone. In July the government shut down the network around Jantar Mantar, and protesters used BitChat to keep talking.
The government has now gone after the network, then the code on GitHub, and now the app store. Each step has been aimed at the same target, which is leaving people with no way to communicate when the internet is cut off.
Apple's notice says the app "includes content that is illegal in India" and never names any content. Apple simply complied.
