If you mean ending the State by seeking human freedom with software, I think I'm pretty optimistic. Despite the wild cuckery of most people bitcoiners included. I feel the trend toward more liberty is going up and will not reverse out of some local temporary hickups from time to time.
Well, it turns out Opus 5.5 can read music.
Or at least it can read notes, I haven’t tested rhythms or other subtleties of a music score yet.
And for some reason I find it to be an interesting benchmark.
The test: The model was given a Timpani score and asked to list the notes in each section. Opus 5.5 identified sections correctly (based on written indications or key changes) and read the notes mostly accurately. On harder scores it made a few mistakes, but it flagged the spots it was unsure about and fixed them once I pointed them out.
This is something Opus 4.6 couldn't do.
Opus 4.8 would work for 20 minutes, burn all your tokens, write a whole novel doing it, AND still give a completely wrong result.
Opus 5: ~20 minutes of work too, but gives a correct result on a medium-difficulty score. I didn't try with a harder one.
Opus 5.5 works for about 2 minutes and gives the right result too. On a more difficult score it made a few mistakes but corrected them once pinpointed.
Side-note: GPT-5.6 Sol will work for 20 minutes, and give a somewhat correct result, with several remaining mistakes.
When given each drum's range, Opus 5.5 can also work out the starting tuning as well as subsequent tuning changes pretty accurately. This is an easier task, though: the model just have to read rests and satisfy constraints mechanically.

Doesn't have forward secrecy by design, as it makes restoring and opening threads across difference devices a pain. More generally Anagrams private group approach is just simple pragmatic and nostr native, so way easier to implement.
