I hope you mean an authentic desire to be left alone and I haven't contributed to this attitude already in some way (or have I? My apologies if yes). A few things I want to clarify: I identify the worldviews of most of my mutual followers somewhere in the [materialist-agnostic, materialist-atheist] spectrum, and I do my best so the stuff I write is both coherent and inclusive to everyone who regularly reads my posts: I encourage what I believe are their healthy manifestations, and I might occasionally highlight the unhealthy ones (only when I'm super sure I understood the situation). Depending on the intensity of the unhealthy ones I might consciously come into the contact with the dangerous possibility of "becoming a monster myself" for a little while (the thing that resonate with your post "Thinking Narrowly"); that's exactly what I'm doing in a series of my posts where I directly criticize those who contribute to nihilism by randomly throwing pejoratives without properly understanding what other's position actually is, and ironically I myself reflecting their behavior by using the pejorative ("New Agey magical-smegical"), which without proper context might also hurt you, since it's almost clearly obvious you're not in the exactly the same worldviews spectrum as most of my mutual followers. I hope I'm clear; I'm not into actually becoming a "monster myself" and I'm not into contributing to your nihilism or urge to self-isolate for an unauthentic reason. I'm going through the challenge of how to also include your possible perspective so my posts would be more neutral to you if you decide to read them. Let me know if I'm not clear somewhere.

I've had other things cauterized before and I was annoyed to see I paid all that money for the same Weller iron for beginners that I haven't plugged in once since I got my hakko iron.

The same local people who had been promised something being left behind.
The same empire leaving with its tail between its legs after two decades of being unable to break a people who had decided they didn't want to be broken.
