looks cool. what’s the catch?
really enjoying sidecar. great work!
zeus is the only decent one
i’ve found, but it’s on the other end of the spectrum from wallet of satoshi. it would be sick to have a good option on that end that works with your own node.
nice! kudos on not giving up on the idea.
i wonder if, since you immediately have to explain how it’s different than bitchat, you should deliberately not use “chat” in the description?
not to mention the all-in podcast.
some ideas:
maximum bitcoin
sats & stories
proof of talk
locked in bitcoin
burn the boats
was there one thing that really unlocked it?
nice, that’s helpful! minor: it would be nice if it displayed a little better on mobile. still worked great though!
i’m not sure i operate on the same wavelength as people who react to a message with multiple emojis.
really enjoying it the last few days. care and taste are evident.
random thought while washing dishes…
it’s weird that we don’t introduce ourselves online when first interacting with someone new, like we do in real life. we just jump right in.
but if you do that to someone face to face you’re a looney.
what! now where do i have a floppy drive…
👀 you can really tell how lightweight it is on initial load. very nice!
switching feeds could use some sort of loading state to keep that snappy feeling. it seems delayed when you tap the button, presumably because it’s waiting for the feed to load?

ai slop is real.
but it’s better than the human slop i’ve seen from some of my coworkers over the years.
heck, my first pass at something is often slop. it’s the motivation and taste to refine it that makes it into something more. something better.
naming things, as they say, is hard. but it's also important and fun. at least i think.
i've grown less happy with my projects being under the "tinfoil hash" name. that's my name. i want each project to have its own name. made by me, but with its own identity.
so, the project previously known as "tinfoil hash / verify" is now: hasheus. more to come, but i wanted to get the rename out of the way first.

what nostr app do people use on web/macos? looking for something solid, without a kitchen sink of features, and maintained with a good track record. #asknostr
with the link, yes. took about a minute.
aren’t all the normies you’re trying to reach using iphones though?
i love this idea of weekend projects. it’s a really good amount of time to constraint a problem/solution within.
it could be! i’m looking to replace nostr-rs-relay. this sounds good, but i’m leery about how new it is. do you have incentive to maintain it long-term?
