There are some experiments like the counter strike that uses bitcoin by putting it on a prize pool and whoever wins the game gets it. Or the Minecraft with the bitcoin economy that was shutdown not long ago or some other plethora of games that have Bitcoin integrate it like lightning poker.
But truth is, idk 🤷🏻♂️. A lot of big companies in gaming industry don’t like to NOT have a monopoly on money. In an economy they want something they can control, bitcoin is certainly not in that category, that’s why they use “tokens” instead.
I believe it will come, but not any time soon. The tech is there, but it is just too moody and noise with all the crypto and nft bullshit, that’s another big factor.
What we need is some orange pilled indie game developers to integrate it and make a good game out of it. Leading by example

Here's your summary from 'BUTCHER' OF TEHRAN: No one should 'shed a tear' for Iranian president (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dVOJ3AYYDg) on the Fox News channel:
**TLDR:** The video discusses the death of the Iranian president, Raisi, and the implications for Iran's foreign policy, the Biden administration's approach, and the need for a shift in policy towards Iran.
1. Raisi, the Iranian president, was killed in a helicopter crash, and his death is seen as a positive development due to his brutal actions as a prosecutor.
2. The Ayatollah holds significant power in Iran, and the focus should be on making the regime worry about its internal stability through enforcing sanctions and pressure.
3. The Biden administration's approach of appeasement towards Iran is criticized, and there is a call for a 180-degree shift towards a policy of maximum pressure to address issues of human rights abuses and instability in the region.

What May Have Caused Raisi’s Copter Crash?
From Sputnik
Iranian President Raisi’s helicopter was a US-made Bell-212, an outdated but very reliable vehicle most likely fitted with new engines, Vadim Bazykin, an honored Russian helicopter test pilot, told Sputnik.

[Zec 12:10 KJV] 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.

Zeus can provide a hot wallet too, this is a self custodial solution that doesn't require the hardware part. There are fees however which may still make it uneconomical for $25USD compared to a custodial wallet.
But as I qualified, I was talking about money you can't afford to lose. This whole thing hinges on where that line is for you.
If you COULD afford to lose the money in LNBits legend and you understood the risks, then there was nothing to learn.
But you said "lesson learned", so I'm curious what that lesson was. If it is as I suspect, that LNBits is not trustworthy, then I submit that you did not learn the correct lesson because demo server or not, they had/have the exact same assurances as any custodial wallet provider.

this took me hours to find, after trying twenty different ways using apache and all the nonsense documentation about it
https://github.com/icyphox/legit
just one simple thing i want: to be able to use http cloning on my self hosted git, so i can use includes like this:
include "nostr.mleku.net"
this, and ironically written in go (might be why, also, because i don't think any other language supports git http directly in the compiler) is what i was looking for
with this, i can create a simple systemd service, define each instance config with its own port, and then bind to the wireguard interface on that port and set the reverse proxy to point a subdomain at that address et voila, finally
ok, hopefully not too painful and won't require me to actually fork it

Trump’s Deportations: Bluster or Promise?
From Counter Currents
1,000 words Donald Trump, always interesting if not obsessively cogent, says that he will deport perhaps 20 million illegal aliens if again elected. Can he? Legally, of course, Trump is in the right. The illegals are in the country illegally and the law clearly says that they may be deported. Polls show that a great […]

I do not unfortunately own a Lamy 2000 just yet but based on what I've seen so far I can offer this input:
The Lamy 2000 has several distinct advantages. The first is that it is made in Germany. Their standards are quite high and so their workmanship is excellent. The materials are of high quality and there are no cheap components. The nib is hooded and made of 14k gold which, although not essential, is nice to have. Apparently it is lovely to write with as well.
The Sheaffer is a good pen, so I don't want this critique to colour one's opinion too negatively. I like it as a daily driver and the writing experience is very good. It works well for me. The Sheaffer is made in China so the standards are lower. Although the body is made of metal and quite sturdy, the grip, feed and large parts of the converter are all of a lower grade plastic. You can still see the mould lines on the entire grip piece and it seems cheap. The nib is steel and of good quality. The converter seems to be good. It fits well and is snug with no leaks or anything. It is transluscent so you can see the ink inside, but you do need to remove it from the body as their is no ink window. This pen is far heavier than the Lamy 2000 at 45 grams overall vs. the Lamy at 25 grams and more than half of that weight is in the cap. This does not bother me personally, but I've heard that as a complaint.
