⚠️ SECURITY ALERT — PLEASE READ AND SHARE
Dear Hope Builders,
We need to share a troubling incident with our community.
Someone who intended to support Hope With ₿itcoin with $100 in Bitcoin has reported being deceived by someone impersonating our initiative on Telegram.
Here is what happened.
On October 15, our official X account asked this supporter to check their DMs. We carefully reviewed our conversation history and confirmed that we shared only our official email address and the founder's Signal contact.
We found no message in which we provided the Telegram username mentioned by the supporter or discussed a pharmacy project.
The supporter explained that they later contacted a Telegram account using the name of Hope With ₿itcoin, received a video presenting a pharmacy project, and sent $100 in Bitcoin along with the wallet recovery information requested.
Unfortunately, the supporter believes they were deceived and that someone gained access to the funds.
We are genuinely sorry this happened. The person acted with the intention of helping others, and it is deeply upsetting to learn that this goodwill may have been exploited.
Here is what everyone needs to know:
⚠️ Hope With ₿itcoin has NO official Telegram account.
⚠️ Never share your wallet's recovery phrase with anyone. Anyone who obtains it may be able to access your funds.
⚠️ Do not trust an account simply because it uses our name, logo, photos, or the names of our team members.
⚠️ Always verify contact details through our official public channels before sending funds or sharing sensitive information.
Our official links:
https://linktr.ee/hopewithbtc
We have reviewed our conversation history, but we cannot yet explain the discrepancy between the messages we have on record and the information reported by the supporter. We will not speculate about what we cannot independently establish.
Transparency matters to us. So does the trust of every Hope Builder who believes in our mission.
We share this incident not to create fear, but to help protect our community and prevent others from experiencing something similar.
To the person who wanted to support our work: we are sorry this happened to you. Your intention to help others deserves respect.
Please stay vigilant, verify before trusting, and help us spread this warning.
Spreading Hope, One Satoshi at a Time.

There's no such thing as a stupid question.
I believed that. I really did.
Then I onboarded my buddy to Nostr.
**Minute 1:** "So what's my username?"
It's npub1 followed by 59 random characters.
"Cool. How do people find me?"
They don't, Kevin.
**Minute 4:** "What's this nsec thing?"
Your private key. Never share it with anyone. Ever.
"Got it. I texted it to you so you'd have a backup."
**Minute 8:** "Okay, so what's the password reset process?"
There isn't one.
"That's not very professional."
**Minute 12:** "Which relay is the main one?"
There isn't one.
"So who's in charge?"
Nobody.
"Who do I report bugs to?"
Reality.
**Minute 15:** "Why did a stranger just send me 21 sats?"
That's a zap. He liked your post.
"My post just says 'test.'"
Yes.
Frankly, it's one of the better posts today.
**Minute 19:** "Why is everyone obsessed with Bitcoin?"
That's actually one of the less weird things you'll see.
**Minute 23:** "Why is every profile picture a frog, a goat, a guy holding a fish, a guy with a rifle, or a guy holding a goat while holding a fish?"
I didn't have an answer for that one.
**Minute 28:** "This guy's bio says he's building the future."
What's he building?
"No idea."
Correct.
**Minute 33:** "Why does everyone know each other?"
They don't.
They just argue with the same 40 people every day.
**Minute 37:** "Why is everyone on here so weird?"
Kevin.
You just spent 37 minutes learning how to use a censorship resistant decentralized social protocol so strangers can send you internet pennies for posting the word "test."
Ask yourself that question again.
Onboarding is difficult. You won't find Kevin here. Not because he couldn't figure it out.Because at some point I quietly decided that was the best possible outcome.
number of psychotic people here is astounding

Good morning
Everyone will have personal, local, offline AI in the future. It's the only safe way to do AI imo.
And to the skeptical I say to you, People didn't believe everyone would have a computer in 1990 either, especially when they could just go to the library to use a computer for way cheaper
Just gonna say it how it is…
If you HODL and never spend or use your bitcoin, you are a spectator, not a participant.
Bitcoin’s price goes higher when more people accept it as payment.
If you want NGU, spend and replace.
Get in the game.

In my 20s I lived with reckless abandon. Nothing was thought through, and I chased adrenaline like it owed me money. At 42, I still get the rush. It just comes from different places now. Missing the last stair in the dark. A noise from the car I've never heard before. Phone at 3% with no charger in sight. Sneezing while lifting something heavy. My back making a brand new sound. And the scariest one of all: "Hey, do you have a minute?"
Back then it was "hold my beer." Now it's "hold my reading glasses."
I'm still living on the edge. The edge just moved.
Remember most of these VC idiots were all in on COVID.
Y’all out here optimizing your node, your wallet, your privacy, your sovereignty...
But are you optimizing your body?
Eat real food. Lift heavy things. Move every day. Get your heart rate up. Take your creatine.
