Actually, want all podcasts transcribed to text.
Is there a fast way for this now?
Not sure about you, but far prefer ability to read thru, search, speed-read texts vs 3 hour blocks of time with infinite amazing podcasts.
Also, helps alot if have this tech for Wikipedia contributions.
Thanks @npub1wmr…g240 your post with this fediverse report podcast triggered me to write this 😉 luckily very deep summary:

Melko tuore olo... 😴

They're worried about your butt cousins on the left, @npub1jmq…5k8e. They actually do things, where you just sit around gaining weight and thinking really big thoughts. ALTifa is so fringe the Feds have to fake your gatherings just to make it look like you pose an actual threat. Face it, delusion is the only barrier to you realizing how feckless you really are. Take it from me, a Jew. We've been controlling your kind for a long time, so I should know.

Update on my dad...
For background, my mid 70's parents drove from ATL to Michigan on Thursday to attend my neice's high school graduation. Friday morning, my dad wasn't feeling well and he kept feeling worse. After convincing himself that it wasn't just indigestion, he went to a local hospital ER. While there, he started developing intense pain in his chest. The ER docs hooked him up to an EKG and ran an enzyme test to see if he had a heart attack. They came back clean. But the pain was worsening. The doc administered some morphine, which apparently did nothing. They hooked him back up to the EKG and monitored him for a bit. While monitoring him, he had a heart attack.
The docs rushed him into surgery where he needed 3 stents to open up an artery that was 99% blocked.
He was moved out of ICU into a regular bed today and expects to be discharged tomorrow. He has to wear a defibrillator vest for the next 3 months, while he is assessed for futher treatments. My dad describes the vest as a "bra with metal pop-tarts all the way around his chest". I had a chance to talk to him today and he says that he feels better than he has in many years, other than the pop tart bra.
The doctor told him that the only real reason he was able to survive was that it happened while he was in the hospital. Apparently this sort of heart attack is not one that people commonly survive otherwise.
I am immensely grateful to the doctors, nurses, scientists, janitors, clerical staff, and so on, that gave me and my family the incredible gift of more time with my dad.

EagTac D3C TI as a EDC, it uses the fucked up CR123A batteries, but it's hard to find a pocket clip, small enough to not piss you off, bright as F on new batteries flashlight for the price.
Have to watchout for it turning on in the pocket though. Gets HOT. Gave me toasty burn of couple of times.
Have a M3V from them also, rechargeable. Lights up the sky.

This image caused me a lot of internal anguish and I became very emotional. When we are a father, we start to see things with a different view.
I know that somewhere in the world, there are tariffs for the use of the beaches. However, this adoption is strange for the rest of him!
I don’t want to be here, in Brazil, if this is adopted one day and I hope my son doesn’t either. 😞

Yeah they do. This is why I think it would be helpful to make the ranking as easy as possible so you can adjust it often, or decide not to touch it since you know how that person generally makes you feel over time. For example, I associate nothing but positivity with Dawn, so if I saw Dawn get grumpy here and there, I would probably not adjust it. But if Dawn goes on a week-long spiral of outbursts, then I can easily adjust it 🤣

I have become a little jaded when talking about Linux sometimes. There is often that "old school" Linux users, hiding somewhere in the wild, who want to talk about "the Linux way" and wants everyone to build everything from source and use the terminal for every instance. And while I most certainly can build Linux from source and use the terminal, after a long day at work, I dislike doing so, and I love the fact that in 2024, you can often avoid it.
The fact that Linux has become easier infuriates these people. The fact that more Windows users or Apple users are using Linux, annoys them, because they would rather you use Linux the way they use Linux. Or, more to the point, how they learned to use Linux. They sort of remind me of conservative or stereotypical baby boomers, who want to pull the ladder up behind them, now that they're successful.

OHow cool does that sound to you friends, #Nostr?!
This will be my podcast that I will be for these weeks, thinking about what to bring here, useful and funny at the same time. And it will be exclusive to you, I promise! However, the main idea will be to bring more new members to this great layer of the #Nostr community; in Portuguese.
I accept suggestions⚡️🇧🇷🫂

I was playing around with ranking your contacts by mood.
The idea behind this is being able to sort your feed by how someone's notes make you feel. The user assigns internal rankings to each person they interact with. The rankings are just mood indicators:
1. Informative - high signal.
2. Positive - I generally feel good about the notes from this person
3. Neutral - I'm in different to what they say, they tend to post neutral content that does not influence me emotionally.
4. Negative - this person makes me feel crappy sometimes or often, but I follow them because they occasionally say things I value or find interesting / makes me think.
Then you could rank your feed based on how you would like to feel. If you wish to over time feel more positive, you could select only to show positive npub notes. That doesn't guarantee that everything you see is going to be happy, but it should TREND the mood towards positive.
Or if you wish to see only informative high signal content, perhaps you set your feed to that and only see high signal notes. Again, you will see other types of notes there, but it will trend towards highest signal.
This could also be expanded to other types of indicators such as "responds often" for example, so you can interact with people who actually respond.
The benefit over just a followed set of people is being able to toggle signal for the day, or relaxing your criteria to include everyone.
UX: you have a hold+drag slider that selects the mood for that user. This is only visible to you (unless you share a screenshot lol). This makes it easy to categorize npubs (assuming you don't misclick into their profile) - to be tested.
Right now this is just an exploration and an idea. I'm putting it out there to see what people think of it.
Originally I was thinking about this from the WoT perspective, but then realized that probably wouldn't work.
