Here's your summary from Is there a 'miracle pill' for obesity? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5HvgEWuCCs) on the Fox News channel:
**TLDR:** The video discusses the connection between metabolism and chronic conditions, the financial incentives in the healthcare system, and the impact of pharmaceutical companies on public health.
1. The video highlights the link between metabolic dysfunction and chronic conditions such as cancer, diabetes, infertility, and depression.
2. It exposes the financial incentives in the healthcare system that profit from keeping people sick rather than promoting health.
3. Pharmaceutical companies are criticized for pushing lifetime drugs like Ozempic® for children with obesity, potentially bankrupting the healthcare system.

Welp. It was a good listen until you guys started shitting on capitalism. You are both smart dudes, you should realize that on a scale where 0 is capitalism and 100 is socialism, the current system is HEAVILY geared towards 100 right? Let me give you a couple of reasons as to why it is so:
1) Money is 50% of all transactions. If the price of money is being manipulated the central planners, then the free market price discovery is broken by default
2) Any and all government subsidies, interventions, regulations prevent free markets from functioning
3) In a world where your average total tax burden is about 40%, time theft on a grand scale and subsequent (centrally planned) misallocation of resources should be obvious - whether you agree with the statement "taxation id theft" or not
4) The devaluation of money incentives spending instead of saving, making all participants in the market more susceptible to buying shit they don't need
5) The devaluation of money ALSO incentives "investing," whether the investment makes sense or not (case in point: GME, shitcoins, government bonds) and a "growth at all costs" mentality in which all that matters is profit, not actual value added to society
6) Perpetual government deficits would not even be possible in a truly capitalist system - governments, like bankrupt private enterprises and insolvent banks, would have to default
(My apologies if you touched on any of those points later in the pod, I turned it off a few minutes after you got into the subject)
Peace ✌️

‚Even though the most recent filings to the US SEC revealed numerous large entities entering the Bitcoin ETF landscape, such as Morgan Stanley, the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), and Bracebridge Capital, these products also attract a certain cohort of retail investors, which are more inclined to making emotional decisions on when to buy and sell assets.‘

Next weekend, Nostr-inspired products will be on sale at the "Oshakai Marche" to be held in Machida, Tokyo.
The stickers I made when I was with Nostrasia, "Hanafuda Zap" and "Zap Maneki Neko", will also be on sale ⚡️
The Oshakai Marche is an event where you can enjoy Japanese clothing and Japanese culture, "和(Wa)"🇯🇵. This time, volunteers from Japanese Nostr users will be setting up a booth and there will be a variety of products that combine Nostr and Wa. So please check them. EV,s 🙀
The benefits of driving an EV is the world’s shortest book. You pay more the vehicle, more for insurance, it takes hours to recharge, your range is half that of an ICE vehicle, they are useless in remote areas without power, there is almost no second hand market due to the replacement battery cost, the batteries only last 10 years, the batteries can spontaneously combust and can’t be extinguished and can cause devastating cascading fires in car parks, you can’t charge them at home if you use on-street parking or live in an apartment without charging infrastructure, the batteries stop working in cold northern climates during winter, charging stations can’t be scaled to accommodate long weekends and holiday periods, towing a boat or caravan halves the battery range, the grid cannot cope with any significant EV penetration without a complete rebuild at enormous cost, the majority of vehicles will be made in China creating a geo-political dependency on a hostile nation, and they weigh more causing road damage and the tires wear out faster.
You can’t run the aircon when stuck in a traffic.
They will be written off after a minor accident as the battery may have been damaged and is dangerous .
They can be remotely disabled.
When you drive them you are exposed to a lot of EMF.
In a serious accident it is very dangerous for rescue services to cut you out .
The current electricity grid cannot cope with the increased loads that would be necessary if they were widely adopted.

*Image creditor details unavailable via API. Visit linked page below for full info.*
Take this simulated plunge and dive into the upper atmosphere of Jupiter, the Solar System's ruling gas giant. The awesome animation is based on image data from JunoCam, and the microwave radiometer on board the Jupiter-orbiting Juno spacecraft. Your view will start about 3,000 kilometers above the southern Jovian cloud tops, and you can track your progress on the display at the left. As altitude decreases, temperature increases while you dive deeper at the location of Jupiter's famous Great Red Spot. In fact, Juno data indicates the Great Red Spot, the Solar System's largest storm system, penetrates some 300 kilometers into the giant planet's atmosphere. For comparison, the deepest point for planet Earth's oceans is just under 11 kilometers down. Don't worry though, you'll fly back out again. Dive into the Universe: Random APOD Generator

The website says, "All of the available back issues AND a lifetime subscription."
AFAIU, once they sell out the warehouse stock, they're gone. Some older and more popular issues are marked "sold out" on the website and are now only available to purchase as digital downloads.
It does not appear that they keep reprinting. I know they had a 20th century sale back in 2011 to clear out warehouse space of the old issues, so unless I am mistaken, some back issues completely sold out, for good.
If that's the case, and I believe it is...that makes these pretty rare. I'm going to confirm with them. I'll let you know what I find out.
I'd say I have a ~75-80% complete print set rn + the lifetime subscription. The oldest copy I have is Feb 1987 (I have 4 issues from '87) and they're in NM condition.

The thing I am describing, but at societal scale. Everything is an economic good provided by voluntary exchange on the free market, including defense, arbitration, law, etc. Private property and voluntary exchange is all you need as the building blocks.

Around 11 years ago, I worked in a small 4-person office at a big tech company. We usually left personal items on our desks when we left for the day, assuming that they would be there when we came back the next morning. Over time we started to notice that small things were going missing. One of our co-workers always kept a few dollars in change a coffee cup on his desk that he would use in the vending machines. He asked us if we were dipping into it. Other things began to disappear as well, including a Kindle and digital camera.
We had no way to lock the doors, so I devised a clever solution. I set up an old ThinkPad in the corner of the room, and installed some free motion capture software on it that would upload anything it captured to Dropbox, and covered the light on the webcam with electrical tape. I monitored the folder for updates for about a week. On the first day, I realized what was happening. The late-night building security guard was poking around our desks, looking for things to swipe. In the clips that were captured, even with the low-quality resolution, it’s absolutely clear what’s going on. If you watch all the way to the end, you can even see the pièce de résistance, an iPod going directly into her pocket.
The video is also perfectly timed to one of my favorite songs. I’ve never shared this outside a small group of former co-workers, but I think enough time has passed.
Enjoy.
