people used to say I was really brave for standing up to the government and shit talking the retarded ghetto judge who was obviously going to sentence me to the maximum in retaliation and did. But I wasn’t brave. I was actually terrified 24/7 of this gang of criminal thugs and still am. But I couldn’t have done anything else because I have zero impulse control when it comes to saying what I think. I know the consequences for speaking are there. I don’t want to suffer them! I am afraid of them. I would stop myself from telling the truth if I could, but I don’t have the capacity to do so. I’m never been brave, it’s actually that I am retarded
This is totally a wrong attitude. Do you know who the person most likely to violate computer crime laws against you is? Think about it for a second. Really think. It’s your spouse or romantic partner. Like 99% of credential theft is the person you have sex with stealing your password to read your DMs. Privacy matters for average people all the time. If you can see on blockchain your transactions, any slut can track you. Coffee purchases tie you to a specific place.
Secondly, I have had people who have sent coffee amounts, less than $10, have their exchange accounts closed for sending me Bitcoin. There’s a guy on Twitter that posted how he got a $10 or so Lightning transaction frozen by the AML division at Strike. The CEO, Jack Mallers, ended up personally resolving that — but it just goes to show that to the authorities, even small transactions are carefully tracked and catalogued. Privacy matters to everyone, normies and dissidents alike. Transactions volumes small and large. If you don’t have base layer privacy, you do not have fungible money.

> It's not an on chain privacy thing.
I agree completely. However, it has been aggressively marketed as such by its creators. The second link saying it is a privacy tool is the creator’s website. The third is the world’s largest exchange, directing telling people that it solves Bitcoin’s privacy problems. The problem with this entire ecosystem is that defending Core’s ossification has become a fractal of scams and fraud. Because outside of Monero, most every other cryptocurrency is heavily correlated to Bitcoin. So you have to continue convincing people that Bitcoin’s actual utility as future money is right around the corner. And the minimum viability utility for money includes privacy, so you have to absolutely lie to people’s faces about Bitcoin’s privacy capabilities constantly. So you get instances like the guy upthread saying absolutely retarded shit like “Lightning is private!” No, the onion routing of LN is retardedly unreliable and nobody is using BOLT12. It is not private at all. And you get something like SP coming around, which similarly only allows an extremely sophisticated person to construct privacy in Bitcoin, if they use coin control on every single transactions to never combine UTXOs and atomic swap to a different Monero subaddress afterwards. But nobody is ever going to use it like that (and some UTXOs would eventually have too little value to pay the necessary on-chain fee for the larger atomic swap transaction anyways). So you get people who don’t actually have a real urgent need for privacy and will never see immediate harsh consequences for the failure of not having it repeating shit that they don’t have the capacity to understand the falsehood of told to them by scam operations pushed by whales who want to insulate Bitcoin from its failures by absolutely lying to people in a completely fraudulent manner.

XMR is not a shitcoin. It is the actual literal fulfillment of Satoshi’s vision and desires for a currency free of state manipulation. Satoshi literally said of ledger privacy, exact quote, “If a solution was found, a much better, easier, more convenient implementation of Bitcoin would be possible.”
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770.msg8637#msg8637
In the same thread he describes a ring signature scheme! He wasn’t talking about L2 of any sort. Not a sidechain. Not merge mining. Satoshi thought that privacy should be on the base layer. But Core is captured by a multitude of people who want ledger transparency, Saylor and Blackrock, who say that it would be bad for institutional centralization for Bitcoin to adopt ledger privacy.
Monero means money. Until Core’s current subversives are fired and prioritizing implementing privacy by default, Monero is the real Bitcoin. Most everything else is financial spyware, and a shitcoin.
> coinjoining including spending from coinjoins similar to Moneros ring signatures
The vast majority of CoinJoins that have ever been made are completely blown open now, because the signing keys of enough participants have already been compromised. Huge numbers of compromised ColdCard wallets were used in CoinJoins, which has reduced the mix set to an amount that is laughable. When you engage in a CoinJoin you are trusting that the other participants have securely generated their private keys with proper entropy, will never have their private key compromised by law enforcement seizure, are not actually subversive participants from law enforcement/security services/chainalysis firms. All these assumptions are dangerous and have been proved bullshit by time.
This week Robin Linus, the co-creator of Glass Coins/ShieldedCSV (the bleeding edge and most useful proposal for Bitcoin privacy) did a whiteboard session comparing his proposal with Shielded Bitcoin. After comparing the two, he begins talking about how the best solution for Bitcoin privacy would actually be having a snarks primitive introduced as a feature by Core. But that’s not going to happen, because Core is captured by corporate subversives that refuse any privacy features. I recommend you watch the lecture so you actually understand Bitcoin’s privacy landscape, and how far away we are from having useful privacy features in Bitcoin, of which none have been implemented yet:
https://x.com/robin_linus/status/2104266654226198827
Even Silent Payments (which are better to have than not) do not provide a single privacy guarantee on Bitcoin. They only defer the date by which your privacy will be busted. If I send money to a SP address, I cannot guarantee that my privacy will be maintained because the recipient can choose to violate it, because Bitcoin does not provide shielding to the sender (in contrast to Monero). If you are targeted by the government and raided, when your SP private key is seized they will have a perfect record of everyone’s transactions.
You can also accidentally invalidate privacy with SP for both sender and recipient by combining UTXOs. Silent Payments, to actually facilitate privacy, require you to never KYC at an exchange and *never* combine UTXOs. Normal people are not going to be using coin control on every transaction. Imagine telling a normal person “you’re using it wrong! You can’t combine UTXOs when you spend your money, and you can’t send multiple UTXOs to your exchange separately either! You’re piercing the privacy veil!” Any reasonable person would conclude that privacy on Bitcoin is a big fucking joke. It’s ridiculous.

Got abliterated Qwen driving relatively unlimited Firefox sessions in xvfb in parallel. It registers accounts, solves all kinds of weird retarded captchas, even the ones I find infuriating to solve, communicates seamlessly in contact forms, really does everything. I find this technology to be completely magical. I’m hooking everything into this thing. Modem racks. Thousands of SIP trunks. KumoMTA. It’s going to be the greatest engine of ruin the world has ever seen.

no, that was aaronsw. I was the guy that did the increment of the iPad ICC-ID on the public webserver GET request. I went to trial, lost at trial, appealed the decision, won at the appellate level. It was the same time as Aaron and both our cases were mentioned for the cause of CFAA reform. I think no sane version of the CFAA wouldn’t criminalize Aaron’s actions (breaking into a closet and sticking a box on someone’s internal network is going to be criminal behavior no matter what) but trying to get a dime of time out of something that is very minor mischief is insane. In contrast, I did not break the law. I got data from a public webserver without using anyone’s logins or whatever. Only a completely deranged lying Jew would claim I broke the law (his name was Zach Intrater)
This “financial spyware” phrasing is very good. I am going to start using it. It is obviously true.

While I appreciate your explanation, I have to push back on one false claim:
The inflation rate will NOT drop below 0.1% after a few years. Usually we measure the inflation rate p.a. (per year). The current rate sits at 0.838% p.a. and the 0.1% p.a. inflation rate will only be reached in about 881 years!

In 2015 I was told by someone in the infosec industry that testified before a closed committee meeting in regards to the parts of Waasenaar that my comment was read aloud in the meeting, that it and my case was disscussed by legislators for tens of minutes, and that people wrote notes and followed up to read my case docket afterwards. And that my comment was the single most influential thing in the case discussion, and ended up with the United States not implementing that part of the treaty on 1A and national security grounds. So you might think this shit doesn’t go anywhere, but you are getting your thoughts in front of the people that will actually write all the rules. Here’s my Waasenaar comment, which I was informed by someone sitting in the room shifted history for the entire world.

I left a comment. There are way more pointless fucking tweets about this shit than there are comments. Most supposed rightoids don’t do anything they can’t monetize, they are just grifters. They won’t even leave a public comment on real legislation.

It was literally the worst part of my prison sentence, calculating as I turn the pages how much I am paying for thousands of blacks saying my name in song lyrics. I was beaten and tortured by the government there and this was more stressful because it was happening for months.

When this song came out, I was in prison. There was some service at the time that was like Postgrid, a physical mail API. I had a process that scraped Twitter, searched for “weev” or “auernheimer” and physically mailed the discussions to me. It was always interesting stuff, usually debate between renowned jurists, and well worth the minor costs of using the service. Then when the song dropped, it was reams upon reams of paper of blacks quoting the song lyrics. Every page was costing me an insane amount of money. I didn’t give anyone else root on the server and I could do nothing to shut it off. Childish Gambino did the single most effective attack against me in history. I never would have guessed someone would completely wreck my cronjob to the tune of many thousands of dollars via a Billboard top song. Completely owned.

Python is slow to do math
But it's possible to compile Python into C, using Cython
And that's exactly what we just did, to the slowest part of the cryptography that allows you to get a new billing identity (without repaying) in HydraVeil.
While previously a ticket prep took 6 - 10 seconds, to now being a near instant calculation. This means disposable, instant, and isolated profiles are possible... while still getting python's forced transparency with an easily reproducible build.
Imagine Monero without the sync.
Imagine Bitcoin Lightning without running a node.
Now am I saying replace and end those currencies? No of course not. What I am saying is that this technology can dramatically improve your privacy & security, without sacrificing convenience.
Do any clients actually implement NIP-39 or NIP-54 to any degree?
I like White Noise and want to switch, but it unfortunately is only a phone app. Realistically, a messenger needs to work everywhere. Something on the CLI, a bitlbee integration, a solid desktop implementation (especailly on Mac where there’s no good way to run an Android apk without installing Chinese spyware). Signal has all of these things. If your app is only a phone app, it is not a serious endeavor.
exactly. to me it is hard to understand why people who are forced to "fight for their country" do not shoot the people who force-recruited them first.

Here's my pitch. MAID-maid café. Get a nice soapy rub job and then the last thing you see before you sleep forever is big honkers in a low-cut French maid uniform jiggling in a cute dance.
Also "racist" is a slur against White people coined by the Jew Leon Trotsky in communist propaganda. Literally it came into usage as an insult with Trotsky’s “The Peculiarities of Russia's Development of The History of the Russian Revolution”. Before that it was just someone who was enthusiastic about the study of racial differences.
Racist is used as a pejorative any time Whites pursue collective ethnic self-interest, as liberal society allows every non-white race to do. If you substitute Jewish for White within the statements Israelis or the ADL, you are suddenly racist. If you switch out things that Blacks say daily about their own kind with white, it is suddenly racist. Even the modest and muted statements of Asian-American interest groups are supposedly morally equivalent to the alleged genocides of the Third Reich. The most common statements of White activists are “we must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children” and “it’s okay to be white.” These are statements of horrific racism from completely peaceful people, while Israel’s endless chants of “ISRAEL HAS A RIGHT TO EXIST” on top of a pile of corpses are socially acceptable.
Yes, I am a racist. No, I am not a “neo-nazi” and I am not sure what this term means at all. People say everything is neo-nazi now. I love Adolf Hitler though, if it means that I guess you got me. I don’t consider myself a national socialist, I have far more admiration for the statecraft of Francisco Franco, as he died completely victorious in a grand mausoleum built lovingly by his people who grieved publicly on the streets for months after in giant crowds. He definitely fucked up not putting a Carlist on the throne, Juan Carlos is the biggest ball fumble in perhaps the entire history of government. What a fucking vibe shift. Hate that traitorous faggot. But while he was alive Franco is one of the few leaders who you can literally say “did nothing wrong” and not be a funny meme like “Hitler did nothing wrong” because Hitler obviously did a bunch of retarded shit in retrospect. Franco got everything right up until he chose JC on the deathbed.
Anyways I pray that the Jews will repent the torture and murder of their own Moshiach, and also be egregiously punished for that and many other crimes of corruption. I don’t want brown people in any historically white country. I think we should return to the multimillennia long legal norms of coverture and paterfamilias. If I were to describe a single defining political position, it is that the universal abolition of coverture in the 19th century is the greatest atrocity in the history of mankind. You know it was coordinated by a rootless international conspiracy because there’s no way that every country on Earth just so happens to make this drastic change in civilizational norms independently in a very short period without a guiding hand.
