It's basically Arch with a skin and environment pre-configured, meaning the rest of us can run Arch.

I hate it because I'm a GUI kinda guy and it's a text first OS, which is really designed for coders and from what I've seen, it can improve productivity significantly for most repetitive tasks.
i.e. after a couple of days or learning the keyboard shortcuts your work flow increases significantly.

I've kept it, however and replaced my Fedora box with it, however, because it has agent support built directly in, so I'm now running my self hosted environment by simply chatting to Codex, which has the ability to do anything (except sudo commands) on the box and if it needs sudo access it will write a script for me to run. I also got Codex to install a decent GUI while preserving the keyboard shortcuts.

It means I no longer have to worry about configuring, maintaining or updating the box and I can also use it as a central agent co-ordinator using herdr, as well as managing my VPS servers from a central location.
