Yes and no.
Firstly it's too late. The U.S. went bankrupt on the 10th June last year.
Secondly the price adjustment needed for gold to cover M1 and M2 supplies and debt would not cope.
Thirdly Bitcoin has far more utility than gold. We moved on from seashells and rune stones centuries ago, we've moved on from gold now.
That's not to say that gold is going to be one of the hard assets that backs some monetary supplies, but it's going to take a combination of gold, Bitcoin and even the evil enemy CBDCs as well as many other asset classes.

I was a "bad" coder until 4GL's came along. I realised I needed to delegate and trust to better coders.
I was very lucky, I had a genius coder work for me. He re-wrote a colleagues year long coding project in a weekend because he could see a way to do it better and he always delivered projects with significantly more nuance and understanding than I could ever conceive.
Yet I had to encourage him as he didn't understand his own talent or worth and he also needed me to keep him focused in the correct direction and end goal.

I use plain flour to make pasta dough, seems to work better than the 00 stuff.

You know you see all those photos of millennials working by the side of exotic swimming pools or on the beach sipping Piña coladas.
Well, today has been designated "hot sunny day in the UK" day today, so I tried taking my laptop out into the garden, nowhere fancy, just the patio, for a first attempt, keeping it real and all that.
