Nobody really chooses fentanyl. Usually they start out trying to buy pills but they're laced. Suddenly, the addiction/withdrawal pain is so intense, much worse than heroin or opiates, they have to keep using until they die. They all know they will die from it or without it. It's a miserable experience. The only escape from the horror is that temporary high.
