Definitely a nice prayer. I have this one on my bathroom wall so I see it first thing every morning:
O God, all my life is thine; Help me so to plan and arrange the hours of this day that I may serve thee in them all, for they are thine. -- M.L. Playfoot
It isn't as thorough, but it gets the main point and is short enough to memorize.
