Now that I've played around with Nostr, looked at several clients and dug into the NIPs, and signed up for eden.nostr.land relay, I'm thinking that I want a client that allows for more precise control of which relays are in play for reading and posting notes.
At this stage of the game, the global feed firehose is great, but I imagine a time when I'll want to settle down to where I can interact with focused communities or even just avoid a spammy global experience.
Am I alone, or unjustified in this desire? Are there any recommended clients that would help me explore this aspect of the Nostr experience? Some clients seem to pick up relays and add them to their broadcast list dynamically. This might not always be the desired behavior.
Thoughts?
