To really understand it, I will need to install the software and run the models.
My experience with several supply chains was focused more on efficiency than risks. We got as close as we could to one-piece flow up and down the chain. E.g. working as much as possible from actual customer orders and fulfilling each order as fast as possible and using forecasts and build-ahead inventory as little as possible. More in next reply...
