I read the Foundation Trilogy too young. Wanted to speed read thru dull parts, so many 'effin depthless characters nobody cares about that exist just to pass the torch a bit over its epic time span which is never tied down to any actual dates. The 4th and was it 5th book? that came decades later just ticked me off with its Galactic Gaia pandering shit. That would be more acceptable if the saga didn't feel like a 1 year mystery story but a 20,000 year epic.
