#mastodon has been my 'happy place' where I hang out with cool people from all over the world. it's recently become anxiety and doomscroll inducing==hard on my #mentalHealth
I was thinking about taking a break until after the election, but then I remembered that we have access to FILTERS. Typed the US POLITICAL keywords into a filter, and Mastodon is my happy place again!!!
grateful for an open social platform where I am able to manipulate the algorithm vs.. it manipulating me
