Thank you for sharing your experience. I disagree with the idea that the oppressors in power decide what is considered oppression and what is not. That's like letting bullies decide what's bullying, the hateful deciding what hate is. Or the rapists deciding what is considered rape. No. When someone says you're hurting them, you need to listen, unless you're an asshole, then you'll probably just keep making excuses for reasons not to listen.
