yeah, i knew about that perpetual thing, but they improve it enough to make it worth continuing
and it's not the OS or the IDE that is the problem, i'm talking about what it takes to compile fucking typical rust apps... just forget about doing it in under 16gb
maybe the static analysers are reasonably fast too, but the compilation... sheesh
only way i'll stop being a #golang maxi is if someone makes an even better, and smaller, and faster language with as wide userbase, just seems pretty unlikely with all these loony functional JVM and C++ fruity variants like Rust with their object lunacy
concurrent, imperative structural typed, or i'm gonna change my career path to dirt farmer
