well, the app you want to build is something i've thought about for a long time
yes, it's a reverse proxy and tunnel server, and the clients relay will be a tunnel client and listen to that endpoint in addition
it doesn't have to be wireguard, it could just as easily be plain old TLS but the auth part will be annoying, and you have to issue the certs to the client to auth with, wireguard is just simpler
the two things you need are an accounting system to track subscriptions, payment rails to authorise updating the subscritpion records, and something that generates them their custom relay subdomain
i figured it would make sense to also throw in nip-05 auth into it as well, so that is always online on your server
i think it could be reasonably profitable and it enables a lot of decentralization, with a bunch of competing services running this thing and people using clients with outbox, it would be a lot closer to decentralized than the free relay model of the committee of dev payoors

that is easy to do btw, i run wss://test.realy.lol here on my dev box connected via wireguard tunnel, you just need a tunnel client added to the relay tray and a VPS with configuration in the reverse proxy to point at it - https://github.com/mleku/lerproxy is one i built that also does golang vanity redirects and nip-05
i'm not sure how you can run a wireguard tunnel client in javascript but i'm sure it's doable
i literally have had no success in getting browser clients to talk to localhost for what it's worth, only by using the tunnel, with a domain and a reverse proxy

yeah, i don't think that part is necessary
what is necessary is sound isolation, and those stone, sometimes single piece solid stone, sarcophagi are very sound insulating, possibly they did at one time have actual soft, fluffy, acoustically absorbent material like any form of cellulose on the seals, and yes, probably they did not have any ventilation, every hole for air is either a way for sound or a source of sound in itself, as well as air movement causing hair movement causing sensation
it is in fact perfectly safe to be in a mostly airtight container for at least several hours, and it is not impossible for the user to shift the lid and get air, at least, in most of the designs i've seen
the key thing is that most of them are made out of material that is extremely acoustically reflective, like granite or similar, and if you place a box like this, part way underground, in a space segregated away from people, with multiple buffering areas with lots of acoustically absorbent materials, and walls tilted to ensure that the only sounds that come down could maybe come from the sky
lots of details but i really didn't like the water part of sensory deprivation tanks, and i've been in them on three occasions, and i think it detracts from the experience actually
and i'd probably argue that a somewhat elevated level of CO2 probably does no harm to reaching theta either

people are loving #jumble - @npub1syj…f6wl 's new relay-oriented client, and for me it is two reasons
- relays have the ability to filter out spam better than clients, because they can be paid, or private, or be only accessed by the list of users prescribed by some mechanism by the relay operator (like #realy and UTXO's WoT relays)
- the application is extremely simple, and hopefully it stays that way and the author(s) are not fooled into the hype-powered fundnig mechanism that has polluted most other clients with five billion features that nobody needs - nostrudel is an example of this, it is useful, but the more things you roll into one the less likely that any of it works properly
a lot of people are going to switch to #jumble because of these two reasons, and the rest of the client devs would do well to pay attention to the reasons

i have a very unusual #catstr
now he is a lot more healthy due to the many things i have done to try and heal him, he now is starting to get playful at times
but he freaks out when playtime starts, and runs away, like it's actually a cat fight and he doesn't want it

i work on this thing about 3-4 hours a day and don't do full time hours on my fiat mine to build stuff for this
current main focus is implementing a simplified, more clean and separated HTTP API (with sockets for subscriptions) so that the relay can be used in plain HTTP based applications, and with more clear specifications of the API calls (one call, one function) and a simple syntax for specifying the conditions of service (eg, when auth is required, such as for DMs)
also, a simple momentary and longer lasting JWT Authorization delegation token to enable simple use of clients that can't be made to or plug into a nostr signer, but to allow access to exclusive content such as a paid relay or a private/personal relay for low-spec applications, and also for testing purposes (many http testing tools can do these signatures and there is now a tool that can generate a key pair and delegation event kind 13004)

regarding heaven and hell, a point that i'm seeing is this
heaven just means away from this planet, the metaphysical is not what i'm talking about, it literally means above the firmament, which is the atmosphere of our planet
hell, that's something else... the many occurrances of this word being translated to the english "Hell" were greek "Tartarus" which was a literal volcano, which you traveled to via boat with the ferryman, Charon, and the association with Pluto and Hades, both being dogs, hints at the idea that there was a literal prison, on an island, that you took a boat to, and this place had volcanoes and lots of dogs
this is basically the canary islands, and in general the atlantic islands, which ironically were also known by the greeks as the Blessed Isles, i'm not really sure, i think that the modern canary islands are the place where tartarus was found, and the volcano on Tenerife was what they mean, and "tenerife" also indicates that it was a prison
i think there is other references to similar concepts and related also, like in Enoch there is one part where he describes seeing this place that was like, i forget exactly, 2, or 4 silos carved into the ground, where the souls of the dead awaiting Judgement were housed, and it describes seeing, i think it was Abel, "making suit" against his brother, and the angel who showed him this said that his case would be heard at a later time
i don't think that these things were not in some sense physical, literal things, as i mentioned, heaven as in space, hell as in a specific prison where souls were "contained" and a separate place where several categories of souls were contained, the righteous, and the damned
reading what Enoch says it feels like he was talking about physical places, and technologies far beyond, like the house of the Lord it describes a building made out of crystals and lights illuminating the place as though it was fire, but obviously Enoch would have described our tungsten and LED and fluorescent lights as "fires" of some sort, maybe even "warm" and "cold" fires (cold fire just seems like evil to me, idk about you, and UV light aside from A is basically dangerous in great amounts).
i think that it probably gives a further means to examine what is being discussed in old texts and legends when you consider that maybe this was literally descriptions from a more low tech understanding to a more high tech thing, like, for example, though it's possible that Poseidon and Atlas and the rest had firearms that used plasma technology, the aztecs thought that the muskets of the conquistadors were like those of the "gods" that had left them behind long before, who also had these kinds of weapons, and also, the stuff about the elongated skulls, while i'm talking about the south/central american cultures and the "gods"
yeah, you will really find a lot of value in reading Apocalypse of Yajnavalkya, the combination of things that they synthesise into the thesis definitely puts a different light that brings a lot of the "new age" stuff down to a more scientific, concrete understanding, and i think that is probably what most of it was
and that's also why i think, yeah, in some respects, these religions we have now are all like cargo cults, of the mangled understanding of higher technologies, missing the critical models needed in order to implement them, and on the other side, where we have modern examples of cargo cults, not only did the "gods" not actually entirely go away, but their "magic" became even more powerful, than the puny stuff one airforce pilot had with him when he crashed, and spawned a whole religion in those places - imagine what happens when it's a whole, pretty much human (and according to Enoch, biologically human) society with far higher technology, that can make those vases out of solid granite that are machined more precisely than we can even measure with modern devices!!! and tools that could carve out cores from granitic stone so efficiently that the core contains a continuous spiral groove

as i have discovered, everyone has been looking at Hancock and not paid attention to this one

it depends on how close to amperage capacity they are
a lot of modern electrical appliances have very sharp bursts that will for sure increase the chances of the switch overloading and flipping off
but i'd be looking at what is actually in operation when the circuit trips, i had this happen last year with a washing machine several times, somewhere inside it there was something creating an earth bridge when the current in the circuit was high enough
my advice is to do an elimination test, turn everything off, then put on the miners, then one by one add other devices until you flip the switch and the likely suspect is one of the ones you turn on later
it's more likely you have a ground fault than overload if the capacity is definitely way under the switch rating

threatening aggression is not the same as threatening retribution for acts that are being planned to perform
these people should be at risk of being shot in the head, on the spot, as they drive their car over innocent people, that's not a threat of aggression, that's a threat of retribution
