Why rely on YouTube, AdMob, Adsense etc advertising income when users will just zap you directly when your content is good?
We are seeing a tiny seedling sprouting.
TheGuySwann (npub1h8n…rpev) made a great long post yesterday and the zap count reflects that. Now he'll probably dedicate more time to making long form Nostr posts for us to enjoy.
Vitor Pamplona (npub1gcx…nj5z) gets tons of zaps each new release of Amethyst. Now he has more incentives to maintain the project and release new features frequently.
And there are so few of us here...
What happens when there are millions? Hundreds of millions?
