All I can see are people desperate to prove themselves by pandering to others. Comparison is the surest path to misery. Chasing that status will wreck you.

I wish I could shake them all and make them see the insanely beautiful freedom that comes from letting go of comparison. But I can’t, and any attempt to do so would probably just make it worse.

It’s become popular in some circles to consciously chase, to lean into status chasing. Jordan Peterson and his lobster dominance hierarchy, etc.…. A glorification that will destroy so many 😔 And there isn’t anything for me to do to stop this destruction. I won’t be heard. I’m a woman. I’m the enemy.
