F-Droid does actually offer a "beta" track process, but it would take about 5-7 days for betas to be released...then we'd have to wait for feedback, then when we publish we'd have to wait 5-7 for the new version to go live. So we offer the apk as a download, but the downside is you have to manually download each new beta release :/
