that stupid man nassim taleb called this "antifragile" but all organisms are like this, and this property of antifragility is not confined only to biological things but even our planet has organism style reactions... it feeds life on this planet but it can't do that without a bit of nasty radiation from the sun, also some ions and high energy particles
the same applies to nostr... nostr is an organism, a multicellular organism, and it also needs to be stress tested in order to be healthy
a healthy protocol is always improving and fixing its weaknesses, and acquiring new sources of inputs
a lot of the rules of software engineering are a bit different for an open protocol, because it inherently has to deal with a constantly changing environment
so, reply guy and all the other asshats who have pushed at weaknesses in the infrastructure and protocol are ultimately doing us a favour, not saying we love them, we want to kill them actually, that's why it's good
