If it's đ permanent, get đ a đ big one with đ low-loss đ cable. For walking đ around, I use the Rokland 2.5 dBi 8" antennas. They're tuned really well đ and đ the range is đĽ probably as good as it's going to get. They're thin and light, so they đ don't strain that đ SMA connector. đ¤ In the end, though, altitude đŻ trumps antenna every time.
