i literally have that PTSD classic symptom of excessive startle at loud noises
from years of being around people who use sharp noises to pull attention to them, narcissistic, pathetic pieces of shit
not from explosions, but explosions also trigger it
listening to music that is nonstop boom boom in a trance-like rhythm is helping me undo the damage
it's so weird, i can't explain it better than that
