I am so angry today I don’t even know how to express my thoughts and feelings. It’s so wild to me how many people are blaming Arab Americans for refusing to vote for a bloodthirsty genocidal spineless coward. The racism is unsurprising but goddamn… Biden continues to manufacture consent to murder people like me and my literal family and destroy our homelands while simultaneously providing the weapons needed to do so and people still wanna tell me that fascism is our fault for not supporting him?! This barely scratches the surface of what’s happening abroad, let alone within the fucking USA.
Demonizing and dehumanizing Arabs in America and internationally is all on par with manufacturing consent. They call us monsters, animals, terrorists… and people still expect us to support Biden? They kill our people, destroy our land and culture, commit atrocious genocides, and people still expect us to vote for him?
I’ve been doomscrolling all morning, and bidens remarks about yesterday’s protest day in LA really just was the cherry on top.
