yeah, geyser is definitely a thing for stuff that is some ways into development already... if you have stuff you can demo, make screencaps and whatnot, not a lot of work, but if you have working stuff that is part way towards a bigger picture people will donate on geyser
it seems like you were not aware of its existence, i'm glad to see it connecting... they helped me get started back in october 2022 with indra, which has been a steady upward progression for me now
i'm gonna keep working on doing things on shitcoin grants for the time being but once we blow off the bitcoin top hopefully i'll have stacked enough that i can just subsist from that and a little extra from geyser for finishing the work i'm doing and getting releases out
i have other things in mind too, but most of them are a year or more of work for me to do, and maybe if i bumped into funding i'd be able to scratch up a helper to speed it up
