Banks are so stupid. I recommend never mentioning Bitcoin to them, since they have Bitcoin derangement syndrome and actively will make your life difficult because of it.
I had to basically get shaken down and do 4 separate phone calls with Bank bozos just to send a wire to a Bitcoin-related company.
When asked where money came from, “investment and trading accounts” is a good enough, honest answer. You probably used an exchange to get the dollars anyway, so lean into that.
It’s so stupid that they harass you about where you got your own money from.
