Ether ETFs likely to go live by end of summer, SEC's Gary Gensler says (ETH-USD)

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chair, Gary Gensler, stated that spot ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are likely to go live by the end of summer. On May 23, the ETFs received initial approval to be listed, and prospective issuers were instructed to submit draft S-1 registration forms by May 31. Approvals of the registration forms would enable the products to start trading in the U.S. Individual issuers are currently working through the registration process.
