As a headhunter it was my job to disqualify people with ADHD. Many were able to go off meds by slowly reducing their dose and eventually cutting out the meds all together. I was a big proponent of blaming the doctors who prescribed the meds, but most of the people said it was because their parents didn't want to parent and encouraged the doctors to do something because their kids had a problem. 🙄
