You can reject the inheritance. Plenty do. Doesn’t erase it. You’re just living off the principal without acknowledging the account.
Being American specifically means you come from a place that said no to the king, wrote it down, and built the whole thing around the idea that power flows up not down. That’s not geography. That’s a proposition. And propositions can be abandoned.
