I think this is inevitable. Companies put sooo much money into developing these games and keeping them updated and patched while creating lore and more additional content on top that I feel they are justified in wanting to own their product while charging user a fee for access to it. Games have evolved well past a simple cartridge of disc. I don’t like it but I kinda get it.
