It is difficult for westerners to understand the mentally of east Asians.

For them it is OK to lie, in fact it is expected, not lying would be not OK.

For them the only thing that matters is material power, not any higher abstract morality, that is why there is no heroes in this side of the world.

For them there is no difference between a cheater who got rich, or a honest man who got rich.

In fact they see honesty and morality as weakness.

If you put your trust in them, and then they betray you, they won't feel bad about it, they will think you are a weak loser who shouldn't have trusted them in the first place. They think they are superior to you because they won and you lost.

They believe in "Might is right"

They only care about actions, not about intentions.

A lot of what we take for granted as westerners is Christian morality, but that doesn't exist all over the world, it doesn't exist in Asia, it is not universal.
