yeah, i lived in that town during... i forget, it was a bitcoin crash in december, i think 2017... i lived in the third floor of a divided house, the dude who owned the bottom floor was a former mayor, gambling addict lol... the owner of what i rented warned me to not give him money... yes, and after the bitcoin crash, 14th january was a big bonfire in the town square, celebrating the fact that the bulgarians began to repel the turks on that day in 1921 or something, i forget exactly the year... was quite cold and they were giving away free mulled wine
nice little place btw... i can definitely recommend bulgaria if you want to wander around a place and just look at the odd things you find, maybe you bump into some people who tell you some local history or funny things they think about, the place is full of interesting shit, especially if you like walking around in abandoned places, there is so many... like on the edge of the seaside in Varna, old nightclubs, just standing there rotting, nature resuming control haha
