Mosquito Kisser (npub1van…0lzh) openbsd is HEAVEN for servers, seriously. It rapes Linux at the server realm as long as you don't depend on proprietary linux server programs or make supercomputer servers like at Google. Most stuff you do comes out of the box (openhttpd, acme-client [for domains and certs], opensmtpd, ssh [wow!], spamd, openntpd, doas,), whats insane is how quality these software are, even the config format is all shared the same and generally speaking things really "just work", compared to having to even ape something like Apache on linux and constant config checking, dont even get my started on postfix and certbot (aids); cron jobs for things 100% work without bullshit like dns.
Linux may win the desktop market but for some reason its really hard to compete with OpenBSD when it comes to incredible software, especially out of the box without thinking of touching pkg_add. For fucks sake if you use emacs you can use mg, the defaults on the OS are just incredible, it truly feels like an actual operating system to me.......
