I heard about Nostr through someone who was poking fun at jack (nprofile…jsen) on Gab who mentioned a "decentralized social media network" and "Bitcoin" in the same tweet. Rather than disuading me, it got me interested since I was doing this Bitcoin thing by myself for years. Earliest memories were getting the water hose experiences learning about Lightning and Nostr relays. Oh, and the magical experience of whoring out my prized meme collection for Thursday/Friday #zapathon.
