... figured it was going to be like all the others.
Since 2020, however, I've looked back at a lot of articles and video of that time. I'm not convinced Trump was so much incorrect as he was imprecise on details. Not making excuses for him but he'd often cite a number that would be wrong yet, in context, was "directionally correct". That is, he often EXAGGERATES but seldom in the wrong direction. That's just Trump, IMO.
