Yea...
... who has time to listen to every 2-3 HOUR podcast? I've skipped a ton of content I would probably like but it was EMBEDDED in a bunch of nonsense (usually).
But when you can quickly get a summary and, if you're lucky, there's something actually of INTEREST in it, you can jump to it and enjoy.
It's a win/win for all concerned.
And I am TIRED of this phrase:

Drop in the URL and get a decent summary and clickable links for jumping to sections of possible true interest. Or just quickly decide if the whole video is worth watching.
This is a big time-saver since I consume A LOT of videos (though I actually just LISTEN to about half of them).

The problem is that the BANKING SYSTEM is OLD. The industry runs on a nightly BATCH reconciliation system.
All real-time processes are only "memo transactions" until the system settles every night. This is mostly due to the PAPER processing necessary and the ACH can only move money so fast.
The world runs in real time so the banks are going to be forced to catch up. And everybody else along with them. Right, wrong, or otherwise.
BTW, I remember "counter checks". Look it up.
