Everything takes time and the initial hype / high has worn off after the bulk of what needed to be built was built. Improvements / maintenance is more boring and less exciting.
Speaking as someone who gone through this countless times on development and design side. Designing the initial half-assed idea takes hours and you're in hype mode... but a week later you have to improve one tiny interaction or figure out how to make something fit into the monster you've created and it's no fun anymore. Well, with nostr that's not the case for me, but for fiat world design, very much so.
